This meeting was to be a planning session to determine the structure of our group. However Richard Lee will be in town and we have an opportunity to listen to his presentation on David Blume's "Alcohol can be a gas" - see http://www.permaculture.com/ .This looks at locally owned and operated ethanol production for local energy needs based on sustainable permaculture principles. David will be a guest speaker at the EcoShow in October.
We then hope to have time to discuss how our group connects with the wider NZ Initiative, which relates to the structure of our group.
